Hi folks, Since I grew up in the NE, I know you have ice, and we have a theme for you.
This week's theme for the Weekly Challenge forum is:
Ice or icicles on man made objects, ice sculptures, etc.
So even if you are looking forward to Spring, I invite you to continue thinking Winter for the moment and check your archives for ice-related images. Better still this is a great opportunity to pop your head out-of-doors and look for an ice-related image. An ice-skating pond, ice sculptures, icicles, ice on the road ... I'm sure your ideas are better than mine.
Go for it!
And thanks for contributing. I really had fun this past week with the Movie Title theme and I'm hoping that together we can make the Weekly Challenge a great forum.
BTB, I'm looking for folks to contribute new ideas. We need 52 themes that are nature related and hopefully cross all forums. So please put on your thinking caps.
Looking forward to hearing from you.

here is one just for fun. I took this photo of the penguin ice sculpture and then cloned and flipped it and created these two looking at each other.

Another just for fun -- the "snow man" in my front yard...

Lisa, These are great images and show so much creativity as did the image you posted to WC. I really like your snowman on the tree trunk. I hope you inspire others to come and play and post to this week's theme too.
Thanks so much for your interest and again, kudos on your creativity.
Hi Carol!! Congrats on becoming the new WC moderator!! This is a great idea, going right to the regional forums to promote it. I think you'll do very well!!

Thanks, Chis,
We started the week off with a bang! I hope people both post and take the time to comment on images. Hopefully people will both have fun and get to know each other better.
BTW, folks check out Lisa Cuchara's work here, Off Topic Photos, WC, and I don't know where else. I'm seeing a lot of creativity and originality in her work.
