Here is a video on You-tube about setting it up. Pretty lengthy, but looks useful.
Cheers!

Thanks for posting this, Sandy. It's an interesting video. I picked up a couple of tips that I will explore. But of course is author, Peter Gregg, is a wedding photographer. He explained his settings and his reasoning for them, but my Mark III is set up quite differently.

When I bought my Mark III, I also bought Arthur Morris' Mark III Users' Guide. He also explained his settings. I use some of the same setting but also different ones. Many of the settings are due to personal preferences.

I can't imagine that two photographers, without comparing notes, would choose the same settings. Every Mark III that is set up independently will be set up differently. A wedding photographer's camera will be set up completely differently from a nature photographer's camera.

The list of Custom Functions the Peter Gregg has set on his My Menu is completely different than the list I set up on my camera, because the Custom Functions that we change most often are not the same.

I just got my camera back from Canon. It's been born again - got the fix. So I'll be experimenting with the settings that relate to AF Servo mode.

Anyhow, thanks, Sandy
