Folks, some of you have accurately observed that the topic this week--Ice or icicles on man made objects, ice sculptures, etc. does contain the word "man."
I was so excited that so many of you were contributing such awesome images that I overlooked that fact as many of you did too.
Pam, Stan, Alice, and others, thanks for keeping me honest.
I will not delete the images but rather move them to a more appropriate gallery--most likely ESS.
In spite of the goof, I'm still delighted to see everyone turning out to make the WC a happening place.
I'm confusd (as usual) - can't the WC be anything we wish?
They don't have to conform to the NPN divisions, do they?
Why would ice on man-made objects or NOT on man-made objects be not ok for a WC ?

Oh, Sandy, you are not confused. I'm the one who goofed by accepting some images that didn't 100% fit the theme.
When this particular topic was posted, Jim wrote it up in the following manner:
"Ice or icicles on man made objects, ice sculptures, etc."
So, as we submit images for a given week, we do need to stick to the theme.
Today we had some great images submitted to WC but not all of them showed evidence of the hand of man; e.g., Stan's wonderful ice cave.
I sure hope that makes sense.
I think what we need to keep in mind when we submit themes is that they fit a nature theme first and foremost, and hopefully include most of our galleries. And lastly, we need to be as specific as possible.
So keep playing. We'll get it worked out and as I become a more experienced moderator, I won't make such a big goof again.
