Superb capture John :toast:

But I've got to say the water being on the 'crook' is doing my head in.

Is the shot really as unlevel as it looks or is it level and the sea's running a really long swell

Now that Andy has said about the water, it does really stand out.

Other than that it a awesome capture :toast: :toast:

Tremendous photograph John. Agree about the sea, but if that is full frame, it might be awkward to rectify. Marvellous shot all the same.

Lighting gorgeous, makes an excellent image one step better. My only suggestion may be the orientation as the sea looks to be sloping, but it may be one of those that you cannot do anything about without making the subject look awkward.

Hi Folks thanks for your comments. I have tilted the picture hoping that it makes it better. In saying that it was taken in an outer Fiord where there is swell in the water. :toast:

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...............that's better John - all is well with the world now

Have you desaturated the colours a bit on this repost John?

Hi Andy well spotted. Once I sorted the rotation in PS. I saved for the Web for the second time and it has changed the colour of the Bird. Thanks I never noticed I didn't think it was possible. :toast:

Repost is much better for viewer's neck, John! It's a great photo with nothing to critique. As for colour, I know that's a basic question, but have you convert it to sRGB prior to saving for web?

Cheers,
Marko

Outstanding
Posted by Marko Trebušak on January 8, 2008 at 7:04 AM
John, it does. Converting to sRGB ensures that your typical colour-space-unaware browser shows photo in decent manner. So which of two posted images looks more like what you see in PS the one in RGB or the one in sRGB?

Cheers,
Marko
