I finally have made enough room to get a nice table for framing my images and would like to be able to find something that also has storage drawers. Does anyone have any suggestions as to who might make such a table and/or where I can obtain one premade?
TIA

This item at IKEA works perfectly for me. It is not part of a table, but fits in perfectly with my other furniture.

The workmanship and finish is superb.

If you can find one, a map chest is one of the best solutions for storing papers flat. But they are somewhat difficult to find and relatively expensive compared to other pieces of office furniture.

I was able to find a metal map chest (think Hon filing cabinet with skinny flat drawers) at a property disposal auction for the local government, but I paid alot more than you would pay for say a filing cabinet. The chest is roughly 30X40 inches and the drawers are a bit smaller. This particular chest tips the scales at greater than 100 pounds, so plan on help to move it. Filing cabinets usually go for $1-$10, and the map chest ran up to $60.

Dick Blick has several "Flat Files" to choose from. These are nice but can get expensive.
