This photo was made on Christmas day. Its part of a new project I am working on.

Pentax 67ii, 200 mm, UV + 81a filters, Fuji Astia 100F

Your thoughts are most appreciated.

Regards.

Beautiful Anil, Very dynamic composition, it feels like a burst of lines. Excellent tones. I love your work!

I think the bottom third is the most interesting w/ the point of interest on that fern. The top part seems a bit scattered to me.

I love these types of images. I enjoy the 'vortex' towards the bottom. Nice comp.

Looks like an explosion, or even and impact site, and feels very chaotic. I like it simply for it's graphical design, the color in the rock seems to support the sensation of an impact or explosion.

I am with Jeffrey, I like the vortex look to this. Neat lines and colors.

This is great, i really like the way you see things!! Would love to see all of your pictures for this project.

Is this intentionally tilted for composition or its as is ?

Thanks, Murali

Anil,

The walls of the Merced Canyon must have magnets that we both have the pole for... I'm almost certain I know right where you took this.... although there's a good stretch along 140 where all these layers and pretty prominent.

I just love the lines, textures and "geology" of this. I'm curious to hear more about your current project. In the line of Rocks and Stones? Can you give us a hint? :-)
