Folks, Later today Jim will be announcing the WP for all of the galleries, but even before he makes that announcement, I have something I too want to say.
First and foremost, last week's WC gallery was a success because Todd Caudle who posted the theme, really jumped to the fore and went out of his way to comment on so many of the images. I applaud his efforts. And, along the same lines, you guys too supported each other gallantly. I was so impressed.
When the week began I had no idea that I was going to become Moderator of the WC Gallery and when Jim asked if I would like to select the WP, I took a big gulp and said, "Sure, but only if you take a peek at what I'm doing to ensure I'm on the right track."
Selecting THE image was a challenge in itself. Everyone of you contributed images that fit the theme beautifully. IMO, some of the images were stellar--The Invisible Man by Pam Colander, Waterhole #3 by Paul Breitkreuz, Bridges of Madison County by Laurie Wendt, The Fog by Nick Moore, Dune by Scott Fricke, A River Runs Through It by Gary Minish, Touching the Void by Dave Showalter, On Golden Pond by Richard Ennis, Red Dawn by Zack Schnepf, Around the World in 80 Days by Kalin Wilson, and truthfully, I could list every image by every single photographer who contributed. I'm mentioning the above because these images really stood out; the image fit the theme with no stretching of the imagination; in most cases, they even matched the mood of the film, and in all cases, they were good images that showed sound compos1tions as well as technical expertise.
My hat is off to all of you and I hope you come back to the WC Gallery to take a peek.
Looking forward to future themes.
Carol

Thanks for the acknowledgment, Jim.
Playing the role of moderator is time consuming and so rewarding.
