Silver and Blue
On the morning of December 16, after that hike to Tea Table Falls I drove to the Deer community where I encountered a wonderland of trees covered in frozen rain, glistening in the bright sunlight and deep blue sky. I turned by the school ("Home of the Antlers"!) onto Parker Ridge Road and made myself stop the truck, though I really wasn't in the mood (probably because I got up at 3:30 that morning). I felt a responsibility to take some pictures of the uncommon scenery.
A towering old oak tree cast a big shadow to work from, and this picture of it's upper limbs was the most interesting of the bunch.

John nice image. I love the colors and the light shining through the ice.

Well done, John. It was worth getting out for, IMO.

Very nice, and there's certainly a lot of areas of interest to explore.

Nice work John. I like the blue tones as a backdrop for the graphic lines and iced branches. Now, get some sleep.

That's such a beautiful blue sky, and the ice on the branches is interesting too. Nice post, John!
