James River
Some nice clouds formed tonight (plus a few tornado warnings) and I wanted to photograph them. Running out of options, I found this view of the James River but was too lazy to clone the bridge out.

Canon 20D
EF-S 10-22 @ 10mm
ISO 100
Blended - 6 and 25 seconds at f/11

Thanks for looking!

Tim, your B&W shots are always good. That would be a pretty big clone job! Be careful up there, I just saw the radar and Springfiedd is getting hammered.

Tim you are very good with your b&w images. I like the movement in the clouds. Just set your brush size really big to get rid of the bridge.

very stark, but still well done

I really like this Tim, especially the movement of the clouds created by the long exposures. Wonderful b/w!

Expert blending job... I would never have known it was a blend.

Nice work on this, Tim. I really like the movement and mood of the clouds. You must have taken it during the "calm before the storm". The wind here has been relentless for the past five or six days, gusting up to 30 or 40 mph on a regular basis.
