And they're off! After a little breather from poring over the best of the best from 2007, we're up and running in 2008. This first pick covers the last two weeks of December asnwwell as the first week of January. I thought David Cobb's Summer Dahlias was just the ticket to brighten up the winter blues. David is a fairly new member of the group and has already posted some fine images. He's also a rarity in that he's shooting film and doing a superb job. Other highly notable images were posted by Michael Lowe, Alan Bryant, Nathan Buck, Wayne Rhodus, and Ian Wolfenden. Last but not least was an image by Pete Dickson that kind of got lost in the holidays but which I thought was exceptionally well conceived and executed.
