Not sure if Stan "pulled a Caudle" and headed towards Westcliffe today, but I did. Man, there was a lot of snow from the Wet Mountains to the Sangres! I also got some fair images of some bighorns in snow on the way home, but not sure they even rise to the level of posting. I'll just post this one for now.

Sweeeet shot!
I was definitely tempted to play hooky from work today and go to Westcliffe. It looks like it was awesome. That snow looks really deep though. I don't think my 2WD car could have made it. I was sliding around just going to the Garden.

Yeah, I left the truck parked on the side of this little back road and trudged through the snow to frame this shot. It was between knee- and hip-deep, and it was awesome!

That's a sweet shot Todd, love the snow blowing off the peak!.
Sweetness - love the deep blue and pure white, and the shadow patterns.
You shoulda used that one snowshoe and hopped......Oh, and what peak are we lookin' at?

Hey Slacker,
Only one shot? What gives? It's not normal for you.

Nice shot Todd. Gotta love snow laden evergreens.
I really thought about skipping the J-O-B and heading that way too, but with my short supply of vacation days, decided it would be better to save it for a trip.

I like this one very much. I would suggest a left crop to remove the small tree and only leave the big tree and the mountain. I hope you post more photos. Thanks for sharing.

Mighty purdy shot there TC. That powder blowing of the peak and that killer blue sky - gorgeous!

This shot certainly screams winter! Very beautiful. You are the king of wind blown mountain shots.

Another killer shot, which i was ready to bet money you would deliver! No Caudle pulling from me after hitting the sack at 3am (since im the one who put out the storm warning for the Wets) so i settled on another fav, Green Mtn Falls.
