Volunteer needed to put together slideshow for party

Rene & I need a volunteer to take the pictures we are given to display at the 'shindig party' and put them into a slideshow. It would also be advantageous if this person has a notebook computer that we can use for the night. We are not picky about the software used. Just want it to be self sufficient and repeating. We already have a projector and screen and can provide a notebook computer. Rene or I will provide you with the uploaded pictures a day before the party.

If no-one else volunteers their copious spare time, I can put it together. Have the laptop already, unless you're interested in providing it on a permanent basis. :biggrin:

I am using "Photo Story 3" free from Microsoft, it has lots of zoom and merge options and output res choices. Audio seems to work fine too.
And its quick and easier than Powerpoint maybe.

You can also use the standard My Pictures Screensaver that comes with the Windows.
