Richland Creek Autumn Hike
Too busy to get out shooting these days.

The day job just has to go -- except I got a cool toy with end-of-year money. A 44" Z3100 is sitting in the box begging me to spend a day.

Here is a shot from an October run over to Richland Creek. I'll be spending some time over there.

Keep posting those great winter shots.

Excellent. Nice colors and reflections. I like the light on the foreground rocks.

There's an interesting, almost "morning" and "evening" (left and right) quality to this image - nice light, too.

Have fun with the printer - as I type this, I'm printing out a bunch of test B&W on my 24" Z using the new Ilford Galerie Fibre Silk. I am comparing it to the other baryta papers (Hahnemuhle, Harman and I thew in Epson's Exhibition Fiber for fun). These are fantastic papers and I may actually stop using the trusty Hahnemuhle 308 photo rag for B&W - the new papers are just that good.

Great combination of warm reflections in the distance and the blue reflected in the foreground. Lovely image, Ed.

I like it too, Ed - beautiful color. Richland Creek is really a special place, as you've shown very well in this shot.

Ed, a great fall image and a great spot! I really like the play between the warm and cool colors.

Ed this is a great shot. I love the play of warm & cool tones and the splashes of light found throughout the scene. I would be proud to have this in my portfolio! :toast:
