Frozen Falls
I've been looking over some of my ice/Winter images and have been reworking them in CS3. This is a version of one that was probably posted 3 or so years ago. I think with newer techniques learned it is better the second time around.

This is a companion shot to the falls I have posted over on E,S&S. It was an extremely cold day when I took this.....

Wow, that does look cold!! I like it Ned. The ice covers the surrounding rocks/vegetation to a point that it has an almost abstract feel.

Wow, Ned! That's super! How wonderful to revive some older work. I have yet to even file all of mine.

I remember this one from when you first posted it Ned. Super. And I do believe that your newly reworked version may very well be a better rendition than your original posted one!

Ned,
I also remember when you posted this one. I went out a few times trying to get the same shot. I never was as sucessful as you were with this one. I like it!

I love the subtle details of the ice on the moss - really nice and this version looks really schweet. Never saw the original.

I remember it well. This is awesome! Probably one of the nicest ice waterfall images I've seen. :toast:

This is totally beautiful, Ned. It almost looks alive with the "roots" growing out into the cliff on the right.

Very cool, the image that is, although it sounds like it was cold as well.

This is superb - I love the feel of the ice cradling the falls. And the fingers of ice reaching out into the moss give it a somewhat eery, magical, J R R Tolkien feel.

Thank you all for your comments... I think I might print this one and see how it looks...
