Purple Sandpiper
I had a wonderful afternoon out in the freezing cold with the company of Purple Sandpiper, Redshanks, Turnstones, Great Northern Divers and a Grey Ploverat Killard Co.Down.

Super job getting one of these in flight. Maybe you could consider brightening up the head/eye area just a tad. Superb detail and lighting on the underwing, and a great background to boot. Well done.

Love the dynamism of this shot Craig, beautifully caught at just the right moment. :toast: :toast:
Agree with Jeremy about just slightly lightening around the head.

A little bit more space and light wouldn't hurt but it is a tremendous capture. excellent timing.

That is great. Seems churlish to nitpick with such a super shot but agree re lightening the head a touch

Nothing to add on the advice front - cracking capture though, and great lighting too.

No nits from me. Great capture of the Purpy in flight. Don't see many of these. Pin sharp and good light. :toast: :toast:
