Blue Tit
Hi all,

It has been a long time since I posted anything or in fact got out to take a few shots. This is from the garden a few days ago. 20D, 70-200mm f4 IS 1/125s, f4, iso 400. C & C as always welcome.

A belated Happy New Year to you all from a wet and windy Ireland

Could do with a bit more room on the right and at the bottom - tail and feet are a tad tight.

Good job though considering the light was obviously really poor :wavey:

Nice shot in trying conditions that we have been having lately. You could give this picture a lift by brightening the bird and in-focus foreground stick on a seperate layer and running the background through your noise filter again. Reveal the background using a layer mask before flattening the image. I have resorted to doing this a lot lately and it is surprising how much you can do. At least it means you can keep on taking worthwhile pictures even if you need to resort to iso 800 or more. If I am teaching Granny to suck eggs please excuse me.

Agree it could do with a "lift" to overcome the gloomy light. Would prefer some separation between the beak and the perch which follows from Paul's point. Good effort in the circs.
