Here is a shot that I took over the weekend. I have posted a gallery of images at http://gallery.heartland-images.com/Pheasant-Feathers . There are a three from November (2 old, 1 new), and a bunch from last weekend. The two dates produced totally different images, with the November shots generally better IMO. I'm tempted to ask my friend for a couple birds, and try and get a more random feather placement. Comments/suggestions very welcome. Any ideas on how to improve these are also welcomed and appreciated. Thanks for looking.

Rob, I love the out-of-the ordinary colors in this shot, though I prefer your #16 version because there's more of a vertical pattern to it. Number 4 in your gallery is my favorite so far, with #13 a close second. Both are fine art IMHO. Number 11 is sweet too. The only suggestion I can come up with is to maybe try darkening the corners and/or edges and see if you like it or not. Thanks for sharing!

Rob, I am with John on this one love the colors. I also looked at the images in the gallery I think my favorite is #2 the color range of the feathers is fantastic. Viewing your images have given me some ideas for shooting a collection of peacock feathers I've been given. Nice theme you have going here, enjoy what you are doing, Keep up the good work!.
