Hello everyone, i took this shot a couple of years ago and decided to post it to see what you all thought. It was taken in August at low tide around the lincolnshire coastline.
400mm lens at F.8 -1 stop underexposure
Thanks Lewis

Nice to see this one Lewis. Was it taken at Frampton Marsh. That's not far from me although I have yet too make a visit. I tend to go to Snettisham for this subject. I have an image which I would like to add to this thread. Do you mind?
Thats a good un...might just crop out the darker part of the fg and warm it up a tad more..

Not a great shot but a great spectacle. This from the shore at Snettisham. I can see that Lincolnshire faces the right way for a morning shot.
There are many more birds at Snettisham and if you get there when there is a spring tide the birds will fly right over your head and roost just behind the sea wall till the tide ebbs.
Best time is autumn spring tide that peaks an hour after dawn. Aim to be in position an hour before and remember it's a half hour hike from the car park.

A fabulous shot that'll be perfect when you straighten the horizon.
