LOL! Hey, from this angle, the towers are hidden, with one barely visible to the far right in the high grasses. The water tower is directly behind the lighthouse also.
What I was most concerned with is the lightness/darkness. I wanted to give this the feeling of twilight, which it was, without taking away from the aesthetic value of the image.

Looks great! It's kind of a tough light to get a shot of now with it moved and that marsh your next to isn't always the most aesthetically pleasing sight.
Good shots create emotion and this makes me miss living there even more than I already did, thanks...

Super! Before reading your follow up comments I felt that the image was taken during twilight. Love the framing. One of the those rare images of a lighthouse with no water visible that works.

Beautiful choice of when to take the shot!

Did you dial 1-800-Adamus for that sky?
I like the starburst from the light. It definitely adds to the mood and the drama. Actually, I just went back and looked at it two more times while writing this. The starburst takes it over the top.
Sweet shot, Richard.

It occured to me later today, right about twilight in keeping with the time of your photo, that this would have been a great cover for the Blues For Allah album.

Naturally, I'm thinking of Franklin's Tower.
