I will be in canada for one week (Saint Bruno, Montreal). I might get a chance to make some images and some shopping. Can you recommend any place nearby? And any camera shop which is good.
Thanks for your time.
If you are in Montreal, your first priority would be to come and see me
How long are you around for and what time of the year?
About camera stores, there's about three of them I usually haunt; www.lozeau.com, www.camtecphoto.com and www.photoservice.com You need to shop around all of them, and if possible, also check prices with www.futureshop.ca and get the best deal.

I would have to second the comment above, particularly the first recommendation.
There's nothing like independent third-party confirmation

I third what Ashutosh said! Visit Old Montreal if you have the chance, and Camtec photo is very good.

I like the walk to and view from the top of Mont Royal. I did it in the spring, though, and I don't know what it would be like in the snow - although I'm sure the view is still wonderful.
Now that is something. I've got three friends to visit. And do not need any guide for 'best locations to shoot images'.
I'll be there from 1st to 8th Feb. Looking forward to meet you three.

If you come to Michigan someday, you can meet me, Prashant! Wish I was close enough to Montreal. My experience with the city comes from a few years ago when I lived in Ontario for a short period of time and used to go to the city once in a while.
Prashant, is that for vacation or work? If vacation, then I can suggest some interesting places to visit.
If for work, there's still stuff to see around Montreal ... not pure wilderness ... but beauty nonetheless. If you wish to take it offline, send me an email.
