Bowman Bay near Deception Pass
Just saw Trevor's post (and think I saw him shooting last night) so thought I'd post my own. I've never photographed near Deception Pass, so on my way home last night I went for a run to find a goo spot for sunset and then came back with the camera. The clouds didn't behave - at least for me - but I still had fun.

This photo lacks punch, but liked the composition. NO need to reply, just enjoy. Thanks for looking.

post and we shall reply! Ya sure the sky is lacking the expected "Marc Clouds" but I'm still enjoying this. The foreground indeed works very well and suggests that visiting said beach again is certainly in order!!

Yeah - what Rick said. I think your foreground is downright glorious!! Just crop it right above the last bit of forest and it's all about the glassy brilliance on the stones.

Oh and David I will be looking for your tripod marks in the sand as I am up in that area this weekend!

Thanks for commenting anyway. Rick, I thought this spot had a lot of possibilities. Have fun.

Nice shot, David. I'll echo the above commentors. I'm not accustomed to seeing this many beach rocks from this spot--good find.

I agree with your own comment's although I think the foreground is pretty cool.
