Wood mouse...
Photographed this mouse at the backside of our garage.
I hid some peanuts there. The dutch speaking people people can read the full story on my weblog...
I have shots where the mouse is completely on the photo but this one is more special I think...

150mm macro, natural light

Nice image Sam :toast:

The OoF FG and partial view really emphasise the secretive nature of a mouse - nice one!

Visited your blog (can't speak Dutch I'm affraid) and the second shot on there is a really nice composition.

I find the OOF leaves a bit too much - the second one on your blog is great

Lovely idea, the OOF leaf that obscured the head is a bit over powering

Great shot Sam. The OOF leaf I DO like!

The leaf obscuring the head is a little too much for my taste. Despite not being able to read Dutch I checked out your weblog and I do prefer the second image.

Hi Sam
It is incredible, when you see all the comments....photography is very subjectif.....
Personnaly, I would have prefer the picture without the leaf......but I can see why you like the shot
Good Day

The leaf is maybe slightly overpowering, but I like it all the same!

I like as is, it certainly emphasises how secretive they are.
Best wishes

I don't mind the leaf Sam, it frames the eye and emphasises their secretive behaviour, very pleasing shot.
