Yesterday morning I hiked up to Sky Pond for sunrise. Unfortunately, there were no Caudle clouds so I had to work without them. The ice up there was very nice, so Brent I think it is time for you to get up there.
Thanks Erik, I'm certainly hoping to get up there soon for some Iceman stuff! But I don't think Sky Pond is gonna happen! Heck, sometimes Dream Lake is too far for sunrise for my old body! Thanks for the update!!

Wow Erik - all three of those are great. Love the "clean" ice up there!
And 2.5 hours, in snowshoes? I haven't been up Sky in a while, but seems like it took a couple hours in the springtime for me!!!!!

I love the last photo. The comp and clarity are great. I would suggest warming it up, though. Thanks for sharing.

Oh, so that's why i was breathing hard when we trudged up to Dream Lake--i thought i was just getting old!
As cool as that ice is, my fav is that 2d shot (114) The combo of light and the comp with those snow patterns is just great!
