Calm Morning
Taken back in October. Still going through some shots from a trip to SE Oregon. It was a very quiet and calm morning. Nothing too special but some honest feedback would be great. Thanks.

Nice shot, Will. I love the various and ever changing textures/colors of that desert playa. The foreground here with just a little bit of light looks great, as does the fresh snow atop Steens Mountain.

Will, You say "nothing too special" but I think the colors and overall landscape are very unique. I really like it!

I like it too, Will. It's just a tad too saturated in the reds and yellows, but that's a matter of taste more than anything. Great job on carrying the whites from the snows down through the alkali patches in the foreground!

Cracked mud must be a dry lake or...? The landscape seems desolate yet ready for an adventure. Cliff

Not a wow shot but it is nice. Maybe a little less foreground and a lower angle would have worked a little better.

I would like to see more going on in the sky...but that is just me being very picky!!!!....Great shot and I love the colors

I usually like a bit more action in the sky too, but for me this one works well. I think you included just the right amount and I like how it contrasts with the gold. I think Erick's ideas are really good though.
