When I eventually heave myself up to the summit of a fine scottish mountain like An Teallach, blowing like Stevenson's Rocket under the combined weight of a sturdy Gitzo tripod, tent and Pentax 67, the words "never again" have yet to escape my wheezing lungs. Instead my lower jaw drops with a clang on the ground and I realise I'll be climbing these things until it becomes a physical impossibility for me.. My god the view. I camped the night on the summit but couldn't sleep such was my excitement at the thought of greeting dawn.

Worth the climb for light and views like this.
Wouldn't want to be planning this sort of trek this week though!!
