Death Valley Wonder
I spent six days in Death Valley last week, with limited desireable photo ops. This was the exception. At 4PM, I was expecting nothing great when I walked out to this famous viewpoint. Man, was I surprised to find the sweetest light and sky conditions. I was shooting the full 360 degrees around me for some time. Enjoy....

Canon 1Ds MK3, 16-35L II. I'm really starting to see the excellence of this new combo.

Jeffrey,

That sunstar really makes this a bit unique from this viewpoint. The light does indeed look sweet and warm; a bonus since most of the time in DV the light is "hot."

Great sky, great landscape view.

Beautiful image Jeffrey. That is some incredible light, and what a sky to complement that landscape.

Those clouds really add a three dimensional effect to the image. Nice one Jeffrey!
