Oh, and a portable 5 or 10 terabyte hard drive to hold the almost 1GB each files! Yeah, and a llama to carry it all! Hehe!
Anyone? I'll share.

The way this forum has grown, maybe if everyone who attends on Saturday contributes a dollar to your cause, you'll have your pano behemoth by Monday.

I'll stick with film. But that does make you stop to think about how good the value is on the measly 39MP backs.

Sheesh, the value is even better on a sheet of film. Lighter too.

Wow - looks like a cool toy. Given the ease of stitching, I wonder if they'll have much of a market with that price tag. I also wonder if you can get a sub-prime loan to finance the thing....

I just bought two: one for around the house, and one for the road.

Brent: I bet $20K of the price is for recovering R&D costs for the dual ergonomic grips. Maybe the next version will have heated hand grips.
Jack: Nice house. You've made ALOT of progress since ripping out the carpet and ceiling a few weeks ago. Did you see the film about the Telluride houses at mountain film...very funny.
Rick: If sub prime mortgages and devaluation of the dollar don't finish off the market, sub prime camera loans ought to get to the job done.

Holy giga-pixel panos BatMan! I'll take one each; camera, house and mobile camera platform! Then again a Shen-hao is small mint less expensive.
