This is the familiar summit block of Tom Dick and Harry Mountain, as viewed from Mirror Lake yesterday. Taken with my "pack" tripod and a telephoto lens. Comments and suggestions appreciated!

Wow tom, I just went up there today
Seems like you were there later and had some better clouds. The image seems a tad flat though, even desaturated maybe. I do like the icy blue look of the rocks though

Nicely composed for me. Nice winter scene. Kinda hard to get some darker contrast out of the rock when there is snow on them, eh?

Nice lighting and snow on the trees. I think this would be a good seller for a Doctors office. It makes me feel like I'm there.

very nice...can you brighten it just a bit and make the snow a tad whiter!!!!

I really like the snow on the rocks here Tom. I do agree that a bit more sky interest, especially a touch of color, would really set this off. How was the trail up to Mirror?

It was totally packed from the previous weekend, John - an easy walk, though there is still about a foot of powder on the surface off the beaten path. The trails disappear beyond the lake, and the trip up Tom Dick and Harry would involving breaking a lot of trail! I didn't come away with any winner photos, but the many of the trees around the lake were coated in 5-6" icicles. Very photogenic, though I had bad DOF results on the images that I tried..
Thanks for the comments, everyone - much appreciated!
This looks good! I like the comp very much. The muted palette is not a turn-off to me. Just, the snow looks a little yellow. Doing a selective color layer on the image in PS ought to fix that, and it will also lend a bit more blue to the sky. Sounds like a great day outside even with the standard issue frozen digits for this time o' the year.
