Do you believe in Ghosts?
I dont. But i couldn't pull over going over hardscrabble yesterday to take shots of the snow and clearing fog, so i kept going to Westcliffe (for beer and wings, of course) and stopped at the SIlver Cliffe Cemetary, supposedly one of the "10 most haunted places in America" One of these nights im going to go back for the proper mood and try to see the famous "ghost lights" that appear at the cemetary (some bizarre atmospheric phenomena, or ghosts  ) Believer or not, cemetaries are cool (in this case, downright frigid) places for photography.

Here's one from the Assumption cemetary, just up the very snow-covered street. The Wet mtn valley has really got pounded this winter. More at M&N!

Stealing souls at a haunted cemetery? You're a braver man than I.

I've heard of the stories of those ghost lights.HMMMMMMM, I am not a believer in ghosts but it would be interesting to see what people are talking about

Ghosts aside, these are nice shots, Stan. I really like that first one a lot.

I wish I would have know about the lights, we literally just got back from there. It would have been fun checking it out at night. Frigid would have been an understatement this morning when we were snowshoeing!

Yes I certainly do, especially watching TAPS-Ghost Hunters-Live at the Stanley, which BTW can be seen on Youtube.com
I really love these shots, the color is just unreal

Thanks, all! John--particularly due to my first name and loving the 'Shining', i must make it up to the Stanley some day, seen it from the outside numerous times but never inside.

Sweet color!

I am a big TAPS lover too. When are we heading out for our investigation? We got enough cameras I think?!?!
