Hi,
One from the last time we had a touch of decent weather on the north Kent coast.... A shade tight for me but again virtually full frame.
Spent most of this morning exploring some local sites that I had overlooked till now and came across some really nice woodland that looks like it could be very productive, trouble was I needed a torch to see where I was going the light levels were so low this weekend....
So when I got home I went through some images using Lightroom which I am still trying to like, getting closer...
Hi Phil
This is a very good picture.I like it.
I have a question
Did you use Flash? Did you add a highlight in the eyes with photoshop?
Regards
Frederic
Although I often use fill flash in this case no flash was used, low winter sunshine... the north Kent coast can be blessed with great light.... no the catchlight is not added, I did however enhance it slightly with a selection and levels adjustment.

Hi Phil
Nice and sharp as always-have you had a chance to play with higher ISO on the 40D since you have had it

Hello Phil
I know where Frederick is coming from re this shot, the catchlight is just that bit too bright, and I would have asked thge same questions as he did. Other than that, another fine shot from your portfolio.
Best wishes
Phil

Excellent lighting Phil. A little tight for some but great detail as well.

Great shot Phil, I quite like to see the bird large in the frame sometimes, if only to make up for the size restriction that we are saddled with when posting anything on the web. Eric
