Fall foliage panorama
We just had a program by one of our camera club members on panorama so it got me motivated. This was a set of five overlapping photographs taken in the Adirondack Park with a Canon 40D, Canon 28-300mm @300mm and then stitched together using CS3 photomerge.

You really hit this at peak...great colors and reflections here! I love the background, but perhaps wish to see a bit more at the edges of the frame. The trees set the scene well, but to me lack a bit of context. As you were panning for the pano...might you have shot a bit wider???

Lisa, you did a wonderful job stitching the images. As far as the image as a whole, your comp shows off the colors of the leaves and their reflection, but the white on the bottom left (sand, cloud reflection?) is confusing.

I didn't really notice the cloud reflection until now. funny how we see what we want to see. Another good reason for sharing, critiques, competitions, etc. Thanks!

This was 5 photos stitched together. I did compose the image in my head as I was taking them, framing each side with a tree.
