Nice. I like the horizontal 'S' curve of the midground ridge and lit peak. I might crop the foreground grass to emphasize the trees as the foreground but it stands on its own nicely.

Nice to finally meet you last night. I like this picture except for one thing. All of those trees in the front are already beetle infested. This image brings up a good question?
Have you guys thought about any ideas on how we are going to handle all the dead trees we are going to have during a good hunk of our lifetimes?

Rich,
hmmmm interesting point. I was told that the Eagles Nest Wilderness where I am going to be exploring is really bad right now with dead trees.

I don't mind the snow, I just hate driving 100 miles in the thtuff, and am looking forward to getting out soon, as long as I don;t have to drive in it. I was hoping I could drive somewhere's and stay overnight while it snows and get some stormy shots and then have it clear out and then drive home (hoping the roads are clear enough)

Yeah, dead trees are already a problem! Even up in the Tetons. Maybe that is why I like winter. Nice comp Paul!

Yeah, I get the driving 100 miles in snow - but snow and the seasons and the mountains are the reason I moved here. Every day now is living the dream. Throw whatever ya got at me.
The dead tree thing has been in the back of my mind a lot lately.
