One of the best photos I've ever seen on UKNP was of a sheep, and it has since won a national photography competition (the shot of the lamb leaping in the air)!!!
I like the grainy, B&W presentation here. Reminiscent of some of Tony Hopkins' great hill-farming photos.
Really like this grainy b & w sort of stuff; an antidote to the super-smooth grainless digital we are inundated with. Very nice comp, and the layered hills and sheep just scream: Wales!
I`m sure the Welsh Tourist Board would like to get their hands on this.
Great stuff, and I enjoyed your sand dune shot, also.

I like this very much Jack. For some reason I feel that the layer the sheep is standing on should be dead level, but appreciate that this may not have been the case.

Tried to get images like this many times Jack without success. THis is one of the best examples I've seen.

C'mon Phil - Danny's not natural by any stretch of the imagination
Jack - I think it's a great shot in every way
But do me one favour - give it a tad of CW rotation to get the FG absolutely level.
Phil's spot-on saying Tri-X grain - perhaps a bit before your time Jack - but it was a glorious mono film to use, and this image just takes me way back
I'd say this was a really saleable image - grand job

Nice shot like the layers created
I thought this was a nature photography forum last time I looked sheep weren't classed as nature

Wonderful image, the layers, the Tri X grain and of course the un-natural
