What you missed this morning

I checked the weather this morning. Fog in the Springs, clear and warmer in Woodland Park. Sounded like a trip up Rampart Range Road was in order.

I was right.

Dang! I knew I should have gotten up instead of enjoying a day off, laying around watchin TV and gettin paid for it.

Well at least you suffered through getting to a great spot to catch a great image like this one!

This one caught me a little off-guard, otherwise you probably would've seen me up there, too. Nice shot. Post more!

I'm pretty busy today, but I'll try to post up a couple others when I get time.

I sure wanted to be out there, especially watching that shallow cold air work its way south last night. Instead i get stuck at work and have to be content watching the webcams at Silver Cliffe (probably pretty awesome going over the wets too!) Ahh well...there's till plenty of time to head for the hills today before the sun goes down! Very cool pic, Mel, thanks for sharing!

Nice shot Mel! I was dreaming of getting an image like this, but all I got were clouds. I didn't even manage to get my camera out of the bag. Glad you were so successful!

Glad you got this. I didn't look outside when I got up and didn't see the possibilities until I was on the road to work at 7:00. The snow was blowing off of the peak all lit up orange, and the clouds were sitting at the low end of Woodland Park. I was cussing that I didn't have my camera. I was hoping someone was up on Rampart Range Road!

Nice one Mel! My head was up there but the day job calleth so off to work I wenteth! I knew it would be sweet! Maybe we will get a repeat on Saturday. What do you say Stan?
