The lousy weather has given me a chance to review old files with a view to printing some fresh wall hangings, this one caught my eye, converted to B&W. Possibly looks better at A3 (yep even a 4MP image blows up nicely to A3)
Canon 1D, 28-135 IS at 28mm, tripod, iso 200, 1/10 at F22 (before I knew about diffraction softening ) Dawn a few years ago. Cropped to A3/4 paper size

Nice shot Mike
If it was mine I'd try and get a bit more contrast in a few areas, perhaps lightening the hill in the left FG but leaving the shoreline trees as they are.
At the head of the valley what's going on on the skyline? That small area looks like a retouching error - natural or not I think I'd change it, but that's me being super-picky (motivated by landscape envy )

It's a puff of cloud Andy - just rolling down from Helvellyn......
No HDR or fancy stuff, just a straight conversion of the RAW file desaturated to B&W and some curves adjustment - I really must learn some better B&W conversion techniques
