I spent a couple of hours in Donna Nook on Saturday and there were still a lot of seals around. Awful light but I had some fun watching and phtographing them. They were much less active than a couple of months ago and spent most of their time resting in very large groups.

Bet you enjoyed yourself whatever the weather. Nicely spotted/waited for, although I might have gone less oof foreground and more sky (as grey as it was) in the composition myself, but I can see what you were thinking with the flippers/tail of the nearest seal.

A really nice composition. You made the best of a poor weekend.
When is the best time to go to Donna Nook in relation to the tide?
