white storks

taken last summer in marrakech, i went to this old palace originally without my camera to find all these white storks nesting on the rustic ramparts,

the light was beautiful with stunning compositions galore and all the storks performing mating rituals often in accesible places. Vowing to return with my camera i went back a few days later. on my return the light wasn't as nice and there weren't half as many storks while the ones that were there refused to perform or sit in any picturesque settings, oh well such is life

Nicely done Jack. I'd be tempted to take some off the left and bottom as the level wall is a bit dead visually..

Nicely thought out and well executed comp Jack - I actually like the starkness of the wall, the palm just poking its head over the top, the angles and then those wonderful distant peaks..

iso 200? 1/1250? Ah! It's been a long time since I saw readings like that.
Nice shot clever use of the mountain.
