common Buzzard + REPOST
23 hours in a hide that's to small. OK, 23 hours in four sessions  I've spend 4 days in my hide hoping for the Raven to show up. I can hear them, oh boy can I hear them. But they just won't show up. Because of the warm winter there is plenty of food and they are very careful. But my day will come
Until then I hope to enjoy you with this Buzzard.

How very disappointing for you Edwin to have this land on your perch instead of a Raven!!
Looks like a slight cast to me too

Great pose, comp and perch and good skills with those techs :toast: :toast: :toast:

The second is better, yes.
I'd be happy if a buzzard visited one of my perches! But we don't get them around here.

Nice one.

It's a cracking shot. A beauty of a bird on a great perch. Yep, there was a little haze and cast, but your levels work has sorted that out. Did you get one with the bird looking to the side. I always feel the beak is somewhat lost on head-on shots. I still shoot them though - just for that great glaring stare! :toast: :toast:

Hi Edwin,

Nice shot! All nits have been covered.

Either full eye contact or a sideways glance would have improved an already lovely image
