here is the unprocessed whole frame from the D-300. The enlargement is a little soft in the feathers but I am happy with the quality considering the magnification.

Yeah, that's a nice close up view of that eagle. Too bad that wasn't the full frame version.

Lovely capture of this regal bird. There appears to be a halo above it's head in the cropped version.
