Swallow(s) - (Hirundinidae)
Kind of struggling a bit with this 'naff' weather, like we all are I guess! Not brilliant considering it was with the MKIII (pre fix), 500 handheld, 1/200 f9 ISO 4oo, for an oldie a while back. Think perhaps upping the ISO would have helped, Do'h! BTW the second one is just behind :-)

Almost full frame

Well Steve, for me this looks pretty damn fine - if it were mine I'd be pleased :toast:

Good result for HH at 1/200th too - I might have been tempted, knowing just how good this lens is, to open up a bit in order to smooth that BG a bit more.

The perch might be a bit busy too. But one the plus side of things the lighting is nice and subdued so bringing out all the great detail and colour.

Overall Steve - imo - a CRACKER of an image, top job :wavey: :wavey:

Excellnt shot Steve. If I had to nit pick it, I would say that the second bird bothers me more than the perch. The colours and the exposure are outstanding IMO.
