WHOA! What an awesome sky! The fenceline completes the bottom of the frame and provides balance.

This is real nice, Darren. I wish for a tad more foreground but the dirty snow tells me you're at the edge of the road already.

Awesome sky giving a feeling of "something about to happen". Interesting with the large expanse of intense blue mixed with clouds above. In the extreme lower R corner, the snow appears more underexposed than dirty to me - might need a bit of dodging. Is it vignetting?

Marc, It could be vignetting, at the same time it could just be dark more dirty snow....

I'll have to say that is a cool sky even though the left side is dark. Overall it seems a little over processed but not to the extent of ruining it.

Amen on the sky Darren, great catch. In addition to the color, the outward sweeping effect of the clouds is nice. On my monitor it looks like there is a slight lightening effect where the mountains meet the sky (especially in the center and to the right) and along the left and right borders of the photo. I usually get this when I use Local Contrast Enhancement (high radius, low amount sharpening). If true in this case, you might use just a bit less, or paint on a mask in those regions to minimize the effect.
