I love snow hares John my equipment tends to preclude me from photographing them but this one is great I personally like the way he/she almost vanishes into the snowy wilderness save for black tip to nose and coal hole eyes and ear tips.

Very nice image indeed! Out of interest, the snow looks a little pink, yet the animal's fur doesn't. Is this reflected from the sky or is it due to processing? Not a criticism, just keen to learn.
Addition: Oh dear, it doesn't look pink at all on my work monitor - guess my home monitor needs calibrated!
