Is anyone going to the PMA show (photo marketing assoc.)in Vegas next week?
I'll be checking out the show on Thursday, and wondering if any RMNPers will be there. This will be my first time there and I suppose it will be sensory overload.
I'm getting twofer of trade shows next week. The purpose of my trip is to attend a large art and framing show and conference Sunday-Wednesday. So, I decided to tack on a couple extra days to attend the PMA and play.

I will be at PMA with Jim Talaric and his other friend Jim, and Monte Trumbull.
I will get there Thursday night; they get there Friday morning. We're checking out the show on Friday.
Drop me a line if you want to hook up.

Bill,
It's the West Coast Art and Frame show. I believe it's the largest show in the county. All the manufacturers of equipment, mouldings and supplies are there. The art part of the show is mostly print publishers and Asian oil paintings.
The conference has a line up of over 100 seminars. The range includes framing techniques, art preservation, framing design, business operations, and sales.

Ron, is this a yearly event in Vegas, or do they move it around the western US ?

Yes Bill, it is yearly In Vegas at the end of January. This is the first time it is back to back with the PMA. Actually, there is a framing segment in the PMA show too. The PPFA (Professional Picture Framers Assoc.) is a part of the PMA.
