Had to rub it in
I am back from the Big Island... and yes just to not make you all feel too bad its 31 degrees here in Oregon tonight. I can't say I didn't enjoy a week in shorts, but believe it or not, I am glad to be home. It's been a while since I shot 5 full day straight. Shooting like that is a lot harder than the workshop beat.

Many of our waterfalls here in Oregon are iced up and I my get up to the gorge tomorrow or Saturday ( new breaks tomorrow---one of the things you go through living in the PNW.

Anyhow, it is goo to see the forum going batter than anytime since I've been around NPN.

Regards,
Jack :wavey:

Nice image, Jack. Hope the trip was a pleasant one. I have to admit that I'm not ready for the warm weather yet. Warm weather always means crowds. Anyhow, I hope you managed some nice images and plenty of relaxation while away

Nice image that is certainly welcome this time of year. I was out shooting yesterday and it was -15 with a -30 degree wind-chill.

It's 6 degrees here this morning, but not much snow. The sun rising through the frost covered trees this morning was almost as nice as your image. Almost. Glad you had a good trip.

Hey, it's warming here - we'll break the freezing mark for the first time in a few weeks.

And, Jack, I think that I've been to the same place before and taken about the same picture. I can't recall the name of the resort, but I remember quite a few of them in that area, north of Kona. Am I close??? Also, I recall a nice swimming beach, maybe just south of there, where my wife & I stopped for a last dip and shower before we headed back three years ago...

Tim!
