The Wave
Shootin the cool light on this part of the wave. I sorta like this shot. Simon got me determined to try to get a comp of that left wall. This is all I came up with. It's sorta wierd, dont you think?

I think it is great, Rick - finely detailed..

I think it's pretty good photography, Rick. It flows well.

This is interesting, Rick. I can't figure out exactly where it was. I think I might try to go quite a bit more abstract with it though.

Nicely composed. That upper left is sure interesting, almost like a reflection of something, or even looking into the rock. I like the perspective. Cliff

First of all, since your my brother, I'll give a big YAHN to this shot. Not worse or better than most shot's I've seen from this area.

Great light here, Rick......I have a hard time getting into these web versions but now can appreciate the beauty of them after seeing them printed up at Mark's house....great lines!

It's beautiful Rick. I think the composition works very well. At the same time, I agree somewhat with Erik (sans YAHN since we are not related) that it is very difficult to capture something that really stands out from this iconic area.

Rick, I find no fault with the image. The detail is great, coposition is pleasant and the technicals look great. The only minor suggestion I can offer is the extreme URH corner. I might suggest cropping the rougher detailed section of rock.

Rick: I think it's very nice. I agree with A.J. about the UR crop; the image is all about smoothness and flowing lines so that little roughness should go. First wave abstracts and now this - keep up the great work. You should seriously consider a visit to Chelan County the next time we get an arctic express and try your hand at our local bizarro ice formations.
