Kestrel
40D, 400/2.8 + 2X, A-327 + BH1.
ISO400, Manual exposure, 1/1000 @ f10, metered from grass.
ACR4.3 + resize and sharpen CS3, full frame.

Hi,

After an unproductive early morning I had started to think my luck was out for today, so determined to take advantage of the sun showing, although with high winds, I set of to where I knew there were Stonechats, walking through the marshes I came across a Kestrel perched on a post, my favourite bird so had to try for a shot, thought I had spooked it, but a slight glance round and I was treated to a 10 minute and 2gig card display... did I mention this is full frame.....

All the best

Phil

Wonderful picture. Makes all mine look like dirt on the sensor in comparison.
