This image is another one from Wicken fen, the moon rose up behind me as I was shooting the sunset and convinced me to hang around for a little longer to grab this frame. I took it on B&W film as I had run out of colour. What do you think?

Thanks,
Tom.

Ebony RSW45, Nikkor-210mm, fuji acros, 3-stop grad.

Hi Tom,

A very nice image. When I see images like these I always regret selling my large format gear.

Superb Tom - really, really like this one. Simple comp and very effective. My only point would be to darken down the lighter central/right area of grass as the top of the grass looks like its held back with a grad. Have emailed you what I mean. Just my personal preference. How did you find the acros? Did it scan well? Tristan

Thanks everyone.
Tristan, I completely agree with your comments, I new something wasn't right but I couldn't quite put my finger on it. I will have a go later at fixing the original file.

Acros seems to be a nice film, scanned very easily, I pretty much just loaded it in and pressed scan. Not sure that there is any advantage with shooting on this over shooting on 160s and converting in PS though, except for the larger dynamic range.

Like the new shot on your homepage by the way.
Tom.
