A very big thanks to all of you who travelled to Silloth today to help make the 2nd conference a big success. It was great to see you all .
A big thanks too to our excellent speakers: Pete Cairns; Chris Gommersal; Guy Edwardes; Danny Green; Ant and last but not least, to Brian Irving for providing the venue and doing his best to sing the praises of the Cumbrian coast on a damp and blustery day .
If any of you have any feedback or comments (good or bad), then feel free to add them here, or you can e-mail me or Tom if you want.
Please let me add my humble apologies for not attending. Doctor's orders and a forthcoming visit to the surgeon (knee problems) prevented my travelling.
Good to hear all went well.
Best wishes
Phil

First class day and well worth the drive up
Guys' landscape talk filled in a lot of 'blanks' for me on the old LS front, and Danny did a monster job with his macro talk and superb shots.
Great idea of the mods to get Ant up from Natural England - now there's a guy with a real 'hard sell' on his hands - but rules are rules, though to be honest, there doesn't appear to be as many as I thought even if they are pretty hard to understand from a photographic PoV. For now the best maxim is "if in doubt don't do it".
Ant himself is a real nice guy and seems really approachable so it's nice to have some point of contact.
Now who would ever have clocked Chris Gomersall as a Zappa fan A lot of great images from Chris and some food for thought.
I'd been really looking forward to Pete Cairns talk since it was billed by the mods, and I wasn't disappointed - stunning images from both him and Mark Hamblin all put together in a presentation with a point - stunning
Massive thanks to Brian for the venue, and thanks again to the mods for a great day - cheers chaps

It was very good. Very thought provoking and inspiring talks from Guy, Danny, Brian, Chris and Peter. Just a shame the weather, was so rubbish!
Another superb UKNP conference! Was great to see some familiar faces and have a good old catch up. The talks were superb, and like Andy, I learnt a lot from Guy's landscapes.
Big thanks to the moderators for putting together the conference and making it a success.
