Pot of Gold

I want to thank everyone that attended the conference it was nice meeting some new and old faces and was great meeting and chatting to fellow photographers. I really enjoyed the talks by the other speakers, Guys was very inspiring and showed some great shots and some good techniques were thrown in too, Chris Gommersal is one of my inspirations and I have always loved his work so it was an honour sharing the bill with him, Pete Cairns talk was facinating and his images along with Mark Hamblins are mind blowing and really does set the bar. Thank you too to Brian for being such a good host and the Mods for setting the whole thing up.

I have never spent any time on the Solway so I stayed on Thursday and Friday and went to Caerlaverock with Mark Sisson, it is a great place for photography with the Barnacle Geese being the main target but also Whooper Swans as well. This image was taken out of the Tower Hide and it was a real bonus when the Rainbow formed.
