The Grand Canyon
Hello everyone,

I took this during my last trip home (home is Colorado and the Rocky Mountains).

This is along the south rim of the Grand Canyon. I wasn't to happy with the lighting and there was a lot of atmospheric haze as well. I tried to clean it up in Elements but I'm not to sure how happy I am with how it looks now.

It was taken with a little Canon Digital Elph. It's two images stiched in Elements.

Any thoughts?

Hello Payat - a place I've always wanted to go in the US, but somehow I've never managed to get anywhere other than Texas.

It's certainly a very colourful image :toast:

For me personally though, the pano crop is too aggressive at the bottom of the frame - it would look better as an image with all the FG width in the frame - as it is it tends to look like a nice image cut in half

To make the image even better, include the top of whole dead tree on the left, and clone out the tree limb in the top left hand corner.

Keep the horizon line 2/3 up the image and it'll look really good - IMHO :wavey:
